What does the EU Green Claims Directive actually require?

In short: every environmental claim must be substantiated with widely recognised scientific evidence and verified by an accredited third party before it appears in commercial communication. The directive is in transposition; national rules will start from 2026 onwards.

Can you also handle the third-party verification?

For green claims, yes. CIRCPACK is an accredited certifying body for RecyClass and RECY:CHECK, and operates the CERTIFY scheme.
