SAP Responsible Design and Production (RDP) is the SAP module that brand owners and enterprise producers use to track packaging composition, recyclability and producer fees on the same data backbone as the rest of their product master data. CIRCPACK is an official SAP partner and delivers into RDP through pre-built User-Defined Reports (UDRs) and packaging recyclability assessments.
SAP Responsible Design and Production is the SAP module that brand owners and enterprise producers use to track packaging composition, recyclability and producer-fee exposure on the same data backbone as the rest of their product master data. RDP holds the master record for every packaging specification in the SAP estate, calculates the EPR fees and recyclability-linked levies that apply per market, and produces the reports finance teams file with each scheme.
CIRCPACK is an official SAP partner and contributes two things into RDP. The first is a continuously expanding library of pre-built User-Defined Reports (UDRs) that customers can drop into their RDP environment to compute EPR-fee exposure for the markets each UDR covers. The second is the packaging recyclability assessments that feed the RDP records customers operate on day to day.
Four stages from scoping to UDRs running on the customer's SAP reporting cadence.
Confirm which markets need UDR coverage and which packaging segments are in scope. CIRCPACK maps the customer's existing SAP RDP configuration to the UDR library and identifies where assessment data needs to be filled in.
Pre-built User-Defined Reports for the scoped markets are installed into the customer's SAP RDP module. Each UDR is configured against the latest scheme tables for that market and runs off the customer's existing packaging master data in SAP.
Where SAP RDP requires recyclability inputs the customer does not yet hold, CIRCPACK auditors run the necessary assessments under the RecyClass, CERTIFY and RECY:CHECK protocols. The results are loaded into the SAP RDP fields the UDRs read from.
Customers run the UDRs as part of their existing SAP reporting cadence. CIRCPACK refreshes the underlying scheme tables and extends the UDR library to new markets continuously, and the customer's reports pick up the changes without intervention.
For enterprise finance, IT and sustainability teams running SAP RDP that need a wider set of EPR-fee reports and a trusted source of recyclability data.
Extend SAP RDP coverage to additional markets without having to build the User-Defined Reports in-house.
Drop pre-built UDRs into the existing RDP estate instead of resourcing the build internally.
Feed CIRCPACK recyclability assessments into the SAP RDP records that downstream CSRD and ESRS E5 reporting reads from.
Send us your packaging spec and we'll come back within 48 hours with a scoped quote and timeline.
SAP Responsible Design and Production (RDP) is an SAP module that consolidates packaging composition, recyclability and producer-fee data inside the customer's existing SAP estate. RDP holds the master record for every packaging specification in scope, calculates the EPR fees and recyclability-linked levies for the markets each specification ships into, and produces the regulatory reports finance teams file with each scheme.
User-Defined Reports are the extension layer SAP RDP exposes for jurisdictions and reporting use cases that are not covered out of the box. A UDR is a fully configured report definition that runs inside RDP against the customer's packaging master data. CIRCPACK pre-builds and maintains UDRs for the markets the SAP base coverage does not yet reach, so customers do not have to build them in-house.
CIRCPACK is expanding UDR coverage continuously. The starting set covers the seven main EU EPR markets (Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands), and additional markets are added on a continuous schedule drawn from the Recycling Intelligence Platform's wider 150-plus-market base. Specific market availability is confirmed at scoping.
Same underlying data, different consumption model. The Packaging Fee Calculator is a CIRCPACK-hosted self-service product. The SAP RDP partnership delivers the same fee and recyclability data into the customer's SAP estate, where compliance-grade reporting already runs. Most SAP-resident customers use both: the calculator for fast modelling and ad-hoc questions, the SAP UDRs for the regulatory filings themselves.
Yes. CIRCPACK by Veolia is an official SAP partner. The UDR library is built and maintained against SAP's published RDP development standards, and the recyclability assessments fed into RDP use the same RecyClass, CERTIFY and RECY:CHECK protocols the regulation references.
