Online Self-learning

A pre-recorded video course covering the foundations of household packaging recycling, design for recycling, packaging legislation and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR). The full course consists of three modules of around 60 minutes each:

Module 1 - Collection and Sorting

Module 2 - Reprocessing and Design + Certification.

Module 3 - Extended Producer Responsibility.

The sessions are recorded, so learners can watch them at their own pace, in their own time zone, paused and resumed as work allows. There is no fixed start date.

What this format is masterclass does?

The content of the self-learning course is the same for every learner. It is not adjusted to the company's specific packaging portfolio or the markets the company ships to. That is a deliberate scope choice: the course is built as a structured foundation for people who are new to the sector e.g. newly hired packaging, sustainability, regulatory or procurement colleagues, researchers, students, and cross-functional team members who need a working baseline of the terminology, the systems and the regulatory landscape before going further. For company-specific or portfolio-specific questions, the Tailored sessions format is the right one; the self-learning course is the right starting point before, or in parallel with, that work.

Live one-to-one expert session:

Every enrolment includes a scheduled one-to-one live online Q&A session with a CIRCPACK expert. The session is scheduled after the learner has worked through the three modules and is there to make sure every question the learner came out of the course with, whether it is a clarification on a specific module, a question about how the material applies to their company's situation, or a pointer to where to read further, gets a direct answer from someone working in the field every day.
