Why a regional view sits alongside the country reports.

Country reports answer the market-by-market question; regional overviews answer the portfolio-scale question. Most brand-owner packaging decisions are not taken one country at a time. A redesign programme funded against an EU-level case needs to land against the EU-27 fee curve, not against a single Member State's eco-modulation table. A North American sourcing decision needs to read the United States patchwork alongside the Canadian provincial schemes. Regional overviews aggregate the country data into the unit at which portfolio decisions are actually made.

The regions covered.

The European Union region aggregates the 27 Member States, with EPR data harmonised under PPWR and the underlying scheme variance preserved at the country level. The United Kingdom and EFTA region groups the UK pEPR system with Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein. North America aggregates the United States and Canada at sub-national resolution, reflecting the state-by-state and province-by-province scheme structure. Latin America covers the markets where packaging EPR is in force or under active legislation. Asia-Pacific covers the regulated markets across the region, from Japan and South Korea through Australia and Southeast Asia. The Middle East and Africa region covers the markets where collection, recycling and producer responsibility data are available at a reliable cadence.

How regional overviews connect to the country reports.

Each regional overview is a structured view over the underlying country reports. The map renders the regional infrastructure picture; the fee tables aggregate to a regional fee curve; the recycling results aggregate to a regional rate. From any cell of a regional view, the user can drill into the country report that contributes that cell. The same 9-section country report structure applies, and the same continuous CIRCPACK analyst updates feed the regional aggregates the next working day.
